Running a Dealer Meet That Partners Actually Enjoy

A dealer meet has one job: partners should leave feeling recognised and clear about what comes next. Everything in the agenda should serve that.

Front-load the business content. Product reveals and target announcements belong in the first half of the day, while attention is high. Push entertainment and dinner to the back, and keep the awards segment tight — no more than twenty minutes of names.

Get the AV specification in writing before you confirm a vendor: audio wattage for the room size, LED wall pixel pitch, lighting plot, backup power and stage load rating. Ask for a rehearsal slot with the actual presenters.

Hospitality decides the mood. A staffed registration desk, clear signage in the regional language, a help desk for travel changes, and a hydration point near the hall matter more than an expensive centrepiece.

Close the loop within 48 hours: a photo set, a summary of announcements and a named contact for follow-up. That is the difference between an event and a business outcome.
